Christie’s International Real Estate U.S Virgin Islands will open its first office in St. Croix.
The brokerage’s agents and owners had been serving St. Croix customers from their home office in St. Thomas for many years. However, the Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate opened a St. Croix office due to increased interest from St. Croix buyers over the past few decades.
The new office will be in downtown Christiansted. It will be managed by Jill Cherubin who is moving to Christie’s from Coldwell Banker St. Croix Realty. Former Coldwell Banker colleague, broker Pamela Hunt McFadden, will join Cherubin.
Cherubin stated that “our buyers’ market remains strong.” “The pandemic quickly tracked many buyers who may have had a five year dream of Caribbean property ownership. Many realized that you only live once and decided to go for it.
Christie’s International Real Estate USVI employs more than 20 agents to serve all U.S. Virgin Islands. Cherubin stated that she plans to add at most a dozen agents to the firm, which is based out of St. Croix.
Christie’s International Real Estate also has an affiliate in the U.S Virgin Islands. There are several affiliates in the Caribbean, including the Bahamas, St. Barthelemy and St. Martin, as well as the Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos.
