Christie’s moves into Boston market via LandVest expansion

Christie’s International Real Estate is now based in Boston. According to a Wednesday announcement, LandVest, the exclusive affiliate of the firm, will open a new flagship office at the Back Bay on Boston’s Newbury Street.
Slater Anderson, LandVest’s managing director of realty, will lead the new office, which is expected to open in March.
“Boston has been a target for many years as an international hub for high-wage and high-growth industries. Anderson stated that having a street-level presence on one of the city’s busiest upscale corridors allows us to attract the attention of international and national buyers.
He said that the initial team for agents who will work in the office will be announced within the next few weeks.
LandVest was founded in 1968 and is one of the largest independent real estate companies in New England. It joined Christie’s in 1995. The firm currently operates residential brokerage operations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York’s Adirondack area.
The release stated that LandVest had a residential sale volume of more than $800,000,000 in 2022. The average transaction was over $2.1 million. The Tiffany Ayer Mansion in Boston is currently being listed by the firm. This home is the only one in the world that has been completely Tiffany-designed.
The new Boston office of LandVest will be a regional hub for Christie’s International Real Estate’s New England network. It will also aid in the firm’s growth along the East Coast. @properties has signed new affiliates in Cape Cod and Nantucket, Maryland Delaware Rhode Island, Hilton Head, Miami, and Rhode Island over the past 12 months.
