According to a press release that RealTrens received on Wednesday, Corcoran Legends Realty, a franchiseeof Corcoran Group LLC has acquired Renwick Real Estate in Bedford, New York. In September 2020, the firm had formed an affiliate partnership with Renwick.
Renwick Real Estate was established in 1879. It has been an independent brokerage for over a century.
Renwick Real Estate president Jim Renwick said that the firm was looking for a chance to join a larger company.
He said that Corcoran has a stellar brand reputation and will allow our agents access to expand their services to New York City and the Hamptons, South Florida and all other destinations where our clients reside.
Corcoran Legends Realty stated in a statement, that the addition to the firm’s 16 agents as well as Renwick’s Bedford office, will allow it to expand its reach across Westchester County.
Marcene Hedayati (principal broker and managing partner at Corcoran Legends Realty), stated that Renwick Real Estate has been serving northern Westchester for more than 140 years. She praised their exceptional service to clients and their market expertise.
Corcoran Legends Realty will now have more than 100 agents. The firm currently has offices at Briarcliff Manor, Tarrytown, Tarrytown, Tarrytown, Bronxville and Irvington.
Hedayati stated that “we believe this addition will be an invaluable asset to the brokerage, allowing us continue to offer the highest level of service to our clients in northern Westchester.”
