Former COO of Compass California jumps to Berkshire

According to an announcement made Thursday, the former COO of Compass’ California operations is moving to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties.
Brent Thomson has over 30 years experience in the real-estate industry. She was previously the COO of Pacific Union International and eventually led the merger with Compass in 2018.
“Brent has a track record of success and has earned a reputation for being one of the top real estate executives who has always attracted top sales professionals and the best real estate leadership,” Gretchen Pearson (President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties) stated in a statement. “She is a true powerhouse and her simple yet caring style is a perfect fit for how we operate here.
Thomson will be a strategic advisor for BHHS Drysdale Property in Northern California and Nevada.

BHHS Drysdale Properties currently operates 45 offices in Northern California and Nevada, with more than 1,300 agents. According to RealTrends rankings data, 4,994 transactions were closed by the firm in 2021, which amounts to $3.689 million in sales volume.
