The question of who would be the next leader of Coldwell Banker has been a lingering one since Ryan Gorman left the Coldwell Banker leadership team in December 2022. However, Anywhere Real Estate (the parent company of Coldwell Banker) finally got an answer on Monday when it named Kamini Lane as the new president/CEO of Coldwell Banker.
Lane, who was most recently the broker president at Sotheby’s International Realty will report to Sue Yannaccone as the president and CEO for Anywhere Brands and Anywhere Advisors.
Yannaccone stated that Kamini has been a leader in residential real estate brokerage and she is excited to be at the helm for Coldwell Banker Realty. Kamini’s dynamic leadership combined with her strengths as a broker strategy, agent relations, luxury and brand management make her well-suited to lead Coldwell Banker Realty into the future.
Lane was the President of the West at Compass before she became the CEO of Sotheby’s company-owned brokerage. She has held executive positions at Interbrand, a brand strategy and Rapp, a global market agency. Lane was also the leader of the Men’s and Women’s Accessories category on eBay.com and chief marketing officer at Tradesy, a peer to peer platform for designer fashion.

Anywhere announced that Liz Gehringer, Coldwell Banker Affiliates president – the company’s global Coldwell Banker franchise, will be taking on a larger leadership role. This includes Coldwell Banker Affiliates and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. CENTURY 21 and ERA Real Estate. Gehringer will report to Yannaccone, and will work directly with the brand leadership teams.
Gehringer joined Anywhere in 2006 and has held a variety of legal and real estate franchise roles, including General Counsel for Anywhere Brands. In 2019, she was named the leader of Coldwell Banker’s franchise business.
