Compass International Realty and Sotheby’s International Realty continue to fight. According to a Monday announcement, South-Central Texas-based Southern District Properties Group, which announced it was leaving Compass to establish a new Sotheby’s affiliate, a week after the Robyn + Rachel Group had announced its return to Sotheby’s affiliate Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty.
The new affiliate will be called Southern District Sotheby’s International Realty. It will be the 28th affiliate of the brokerage in the state. It will be owned by Cari Goeke.
Philip White, president of Sotheby’s International Realty, stated in a statement that he was thrilled to welcome Cari and her team. Their industry knowledge and expertise allows us to target a growing market. This area was recently called the “Hamptons of Texas”. We look forward to supporting Southern District Sotheby’s International Realty.
According to RealTrends America’s Best rankings data, Goeke’s team made more than $71million in sales volume in 2021. The team currently has two offices and will be bringing them over to Sotheby’s in Brenham, Texas. According to the release, the firm plans on opening a third office in College Station to better serve the Bryan-College Station and Brazos Valley areas.

Our affiliation… allows for us to draw on our local knowledge and expertise, which will benefit our clients and agents.”
