After a year at Compass, Robyn + Rachel Group returns home to Sotheby’s

After receiving a one-year exploratory contract with Compass in 2022, the top-producing Pacific Northwest team Robyn + Rachel Group will be returning to Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR).
The team, headed by Robyn Kimura Hasu and Rachel Schindler has been licensed with RSIR from 2019. The team stated that they were leaving Compass due to “market factors” and “corporate restructuring at Compass”.
Dean Jones, president and CEO of RSIR stated in a statement that “we are reminded of the most important brand attributes, legacy, trust and culture must be earned and cannot be purchased”. “This market cycle has seen disruption and innovation, which is something we respect and contribute to. But, connection and collaboration with our entire staff are crucial.”
Schindler said: “As the market-wide sales volumes continue to contract, it’s crucial for us to expand our markets while also providing a white glove service level, regardless of whether that’s just around the corner or across the globe. This brand is the only international realty brand that can keep its promise of consistency and continuity.
Kimura Hsu, Schindler and the Mercer Island Branch founder of RSIR have been reinstated in their roles. Kimura Hsu is a long-time resident on Mercer Island and said that she is excited to help develop RSIR’s new branch office.
Schindler will also be joining RSIR’s Strategic Advisory Council for Business Development. She will be responsible for identifying opportunities for agents to create teams, search referral networks, and build a brand within the brand for future retirement planning.
Kimura Hsu stated that she is excited about the future of Robyn + Rachel Group. This was thanks to RSIR’s proven support team. “Having done my due diligence in several real estate brands, I am comforted by RSIR’s commitment to local ownership, a dedicated commitment towards supporting their agents, as well as the enduring brand legacy. We and our clients value culture and this is a people-based business.
Kimura Hsu, Schindler, and Maddie Bates are part of the Robyn + Rachel Group. According to RealTrends data, the team made $103.165 million in sales volume in 2021.
