Relocator is acquired by MooveGuru, a proptech service provider

MooveGuru is a proptech service provider for movers. It raised $5 million equity funding last year and announced that it had acquired Relocator. The company stated that the acquisition was an eight-figure transaction, but did not provide any details about the financial terms.
Scott Oakley, CEO of MooveGuru, stated in a prepared statement that “We have long admired Relocator platform” and the mortgage customer base.
MooveGuru purchased Relocator’s platform and clients, as well as the contracts with three “top” mortgage companies – names not disclosed — and its employees, which include 5,000 loan officers and 30,000 agents.
Oakley said that MooveGuru is the only solution for loan officers and agents to provide their clients with all the tools they need to manage their move and the whole homeownership process.
Andy Solheim and Mark Johnson, co-founders of Relocator, will join MooveGuru’s executive team.
Johnson stated that MooveGuru has an incredible number of integrations that will automate client onboarding. Johnson added that this will allow Johnson to leverage his existing relationships and offer clients the best customer-for-life solutions. Johnson stated that the impact on lead flow, revenues and profitability will be immediate and substantial.
MooveGuru was founded in 2016 and launched a “free mover program” to help homebuyers and sellers save money on moving services. It offers products such as Mover Connect, a white-glove utility assistance program for relocating customers; Mover Engage (an AI-powered program that identifies future buyers or sellers and sets up email marketing campaigns for clients); and HomeKeepr which MooveGuru purchased in February 2021.
The company currently provides services to more 370,000 agents and loan officers clients with over 70 data integrations. According to the statement, its platform is used by more than 2,500 real-estate brokerages, 1,500 mortgage brokers, and 8 million homeowners.
MooveGuru is used by companies such as ERA, Keller Williams and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.
Relocator was established in 2017 and offers similar products such as concierge services. Relocator’s Moving Specialist transfers utilities and gadgets to ensure your home security. The company offers online maintenance services, a Moving Checklist to provide organizational support, and connects movers with resources to help forward mail, contact DMV and find schools and healthcare.
MooveGuru now offers Relocator’s dashboard to organize tasks, schedule providers, and services.
