Katrina Barrett, founder of Local Luxury and broker, stated that the relationship is more important than the transaction in a statement about their partnership. “I look forward to working with Walt and his amazing team, and leveraging Christie’s International Real Estate affiliation for our luxury clients.”
The brokerages, which collectively had $700 million in sales in 2022 and 70 agents from Local Luxury, will now be operated by 35 Walt Danley agents. It will have offices in Arcadia and North Scottsdale. Plans are to expand into Flagstaff.

According to the statement, Local Luxury will increase its portfolio of high-end properties through this partnership and improve client service by leveraging Christie’s International Real Estate’s brokerage network.
Barrett stated that she expects the Local Walt Danley will have more than $1Billion in sales this year.
The Walt Danley Group was ranked second in Arizona among all teams in RealTrends’ top-rated real estate professionals rankings in 2021. It had more than $263 millions in sales volume.
