As the industry looks for ways to increase originations, partnerships continue to be formed between mortgage companies and real-estate brokerages and home builders. RE/MAX Results and Santa Ana, California-based lender have formed a joint venture to help them capture more Midwest business. The joint venture, called Results Home Mortgage, LLC, was established in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. It will serve borrowers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Stearns stated that the joint venture Results Home Mortgage brings together the expertise of Kind Lending and Minnesota’s real estate market to ensure homebuyers get unparalleled service in the land of 10,000 lakes. This arrangement allows real estate agents to access in-house loan officers who can help with qualifying borrowers, but they are not obligated to use LOs that have been part of the joint venture.
